1. Carefully separate the bracket from the terminal by unscrew-
ing the two black bracket knobs.
2. Prepare a mounting location.
a. Select a location to mount the terminal. The terminal’s
bracket already has bolt holes. Use these holes as a tem-
plate to mark bolt hole locations.
b. Drill two holes with a 7/16" drill bit.
Note:
Ensure bracket is:
•
secured along its length to a firm, flat surface that
can support the weight of the terminal - on a vehicle,
wall, or workbench
•
secured with a minimum of two 3/8" diameter bolts
and nylon self-locking nuts
•
mounted in such a way that the installation does not
deform the base of the bracket
•
easy for the end user to see and reach when the ter-
minal is mounted.
3. Position and install the bracket onto the mounting surface.
Fasten the bracket using a minimum of two 3/8" bolts and
self-locking nuts.
