Modem Country Setup
The modem defaults to operation with US telephone networks
(country code: B5). To operate the modem with other country
telephone networks, you must set the appropriate country code by
entering the Country of Installation command. The modem will
adjust it’s operating parameters to comply with the telephone
network in the country specified.
Syntax
+GCI=<country_code>
Enter this command in the Init String: text box for Palm OS,
described in step 12 on page 6 or in the Extra dial-string modem
commands: text box of the Modem Settings screen, described in
step 20 on page 11 and step 7 on page 15
