• Pass the power cable through the open-
ing "A" and secure it with the cable relief
"B".
Connect the power cable at the screw
terminal "C". Observe the labels next to
the screwterminals.
If your power cable has an earth, it can be connected securely at screw terminal "D".
The wall and ceiling fan is designed according to protection class II; an earth is not
required (the screw terminal "D" is used only to secure the earth, if available, in the
housing).
At the connection "L1," you can connect, for example, an external timer or a switch
("S1"). This enables the fan to operate at increased speed ("Boost" mode). Ideally,
the light switch in the room should be used for this purpose. As a result, the fan
always works at increased speed if the light is switched on (e.g. in small bathrooms
or WCs).
• Close the fan; close the front of the housing. Secure the front cover with the screws
removed at the beginning.
• Replace the cover and lock it again by turning it slightly clockwise.
• Depending on the mounting location of the wall and ceiling fan, make sure that ro-
tating parts cannot be touched.
If necessary, mount suitable protective grilles according to DIN31001.
Depending of the position of the discharge opening, suitable grilles to protect against
incursion of moisture are to be mounted (e.g. self-closing louver grills).
Getting Started
• When the mains voltage is initially turned on,
the two LEDs for Bath and Kitchen
fl
ash. Press
the button (1) corresponding to the mounting
location; the two operating modes differ only
in the preset for the air speeds (adjustable, see
below).

If no button is pressed for 15 minutes, the bath-
room mode is automatically activated and the
setting mode exited (to open the setting mode
again, press and hold both "+" and "-" buttons (4)
for about 3 seconds).
• Then the LED for the boost speed "
"
fl
ashes.
With the “+“ and “-“ buttons (4), you can now
change the speed as desired. Brie
fl
y press the
Boost button (3) to
fi
nish the setting.
• Then the LED for the Trickle speed "

fl
ashes. With the “+“ and “-“ buttons (4), you
can change the speed. Brie
fl
y press the Trickle button (2) to
fi
nish the setting.
• Monitoring of the humidity can be activated with the button "
". The correspond-
ing LED in the button lights up. If the room humidity changes suddenly (e.g. during a
shower), the fan is automatically activated and also deactivated again.
• The "
" is used to activate the timer. Depending on how long the switch "S1" was
activated ("S1" = light switch for the room in which the fan is mounted; see switch
example above), the fan runs for a certain post-run time:

• The setting always automatically ends if no buttons are pressed for a certain period
of time. All LEDs go out.
To control the actual setting, brie
fl
y press any key. The corresponding LEDs in the
button light up for a few seconds and then go out.
While the LEDs are lit, you can switch the humidity or timer mode on or off. Other
setting functions are not possible.
• To activate the setting mode again, press and hold both "+" and "-" buttons for about
3 seconds, until the LEDs for the Kitchen and Bathroom modes
fl
ash. Then release
the buttons and proceed with the setting as described above.
• To reset the wall and ceiling fan to the default settings, press and hold the "+" and "-"
buttons until all LEDs
fl
ash. Then release the buttons. Afterward, the setting mode
starts; see above.
• Settings are not lost if the wall and ceiling fan is separated from the mains voltage.
Maintenance and Cleaning
• The wall and ceiling fan is maintenance-free. Repair or maintenance work must be
carried out by a specialist.
• If you determine that no air is moved,
fi
rst check the mains/power supply of the fan.
Then check whether the rotor is blocked by sucked-in objects or dirt/dust/hair. Turn
the power off
fi
rst by removing the electric circuit fuse or switching off at the circuit
breaker. Secure it against unauthorised reconnection, e.g., with a danger sign.
Subsequently, also turn off the ground leakage circuit breaker to disconnect all the
poles from the mains voltage. Check that the mains connection is current free with a
suitable tester.
Then open the fan housing and check whether the rotor is blocked by a sucked-in
object or dirt/dust/hair and remove the cause of the blockage.
Close the fan housing completely. Only then may you turn on the mains voltage.
Check the function of the fan.
If the fan still does not work, have it checked by a specialist.
Disposal
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to
the current statutory requirements.
