OVERWRITE:
When “ON” is selected, the
fi
rst data recorded are automatically overwritten when
the hard disk’s full storage capacity is reached. When “OFF” is selected, no new recordings are
made when the hard disk’s full storage capacity is reached.
DURATION DAYS:
Setting for automated overwriting of the recorded data per day; 1 to 60 days
can be set.
HDD FORMAT:
Use this function to format the hard disk. You cannot store any data on the hard
disk before the hard disk was formatted.
Observe that all data and recordings on the hard disk are deleted during format-
ting.
To format the hard disk, proceed as follows:
• Click “Format HDD” to start formatting.
• You will be informed that all data on the hard disk is deleted when formatting. Click “OK” to
format. Click on “CANCEL” to cancel the process.
• During formatting, the words “Is formatting...” is displayed.
• After successful formatting, the words “successful format” are displayed, and the system is au-
tomatically restarted.
USB FORMAT:
Use this option to format the connected USB storage medium. Observe the safety
notes from the preceding explanation “HDD FORMAT” and proceed as described in them.
b) Submenu “ALARM”
Click the menu “DEVICES” in the main menu and then
the submenu “ALARM” to call the submenu “ALARM”.
I/O STATUS:
Here, you can determine the type of sen-
sors that are connected to the alarm connection ter-
minal. NO (Normal-Open), NC (Normal-Close) or OFF
(no sensor connected).
BUZZER:
Activate / deactivate the internal buzzer.
OUTPUT:
Deactivate (OFF) the connected external
buzzer (connected to the alarm connection terminal
at the “ALARM” terminal) or determine duration of
activation (10 seconds, 20 seconds, 40 seconds or
seconds).
