system) and microphone
6 Low-voltage socket for voltage
/ power supply via external power
adapter (5 V/DC, 1 A)
7 Power supply unit
Initial operation
• Screw the antenna to the corresponding socket on the back of the wireless camera. The
antenna can be adjusted to various angles to improve connectivity.
• The included bracket can be screwed on the back of the wireless camera.
• Secure the bracket in place with suitable screws, and if necessary, dowels (depending on
the mounting surface). Ensure that no cables or wires are damaged when drilling holes or
tightening screws.
Before a permanent installation, you should first make sure that wireless transmis-
sion between the wireless camera and the surveillance system is flawless.
Environmental factors can reduce signal range and quality.
Select the installation location so that the wireless camera cannot be tampered. For
this reason, the wireless camera should be mounted at a minimum height of 2.5 m.
When installing the wireless camera outdoors, we recommend placing it in a location
that is protected against rain/spray water (e.g. under eaves), as water droplets/spray
water on the front of the camera may lead to a distorted image.
• Orient the wireless camera lens to the desired surveillance area. You can precisely adjust it
later when the surveillance system shows the wireless camera image.
• Lay the power adapter cable in a suitable cable duct or the like. The power connector is
moisture-proof. However, it must not be placed in or under water. We recommend that it is
used in a place where it is not directly exposed to precipitation.
If the connection cable is to be guided through a wall, use a small plastic bag or the like to
protect the connectors from dust and dirt.
• Make sure the housing (5) with the microphone inside is located in a suitable place. Align
the microphone openings so that they point in the direction of the camera‘s surveillance
area. Secure the enclosure/cable e.g. with cable fasteners.
There is a small square button on the other side of the housing (5). It is used to
connect the wireless camera to the surveillance system (“pairing”). Make sure that
this button is not pressed accidentally. Leave some distance between the enclosure/
button and the mounting surface.
• Insert the low-voltage round plug of the included power adapter into the corresponding
round socket of the wireless camera.
The power adapter is only intended for use in dry indoor locations. It must never get
damp or wet; danger of a fatal electric shock!
• The wireless camera is now ready for use.
Caution, important!
For the wireless camera image to be displayed on the surveillance system (e.g.
Conrad order no. 2273568), the wireless camera must first be connected to the
surveillance system (also known as “pairing”).
Ensure that the wireless camera channel on the surveillance system is enabled.
To pair the camera, refer to the operating instructions for your surveillance system.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as
these may damage the housing or stop the product from functioning properly.
