b) Installing (replacing) the remote control battery
If you see a battery insulation strip sticking out from the battery compartment the bat-
tery is already installed. Pull the strip to activate it.
The remote control operates on a CR2025 button cell battery.
1. Unlock the battery compartment and pull out the holder.
- Observe the diagram printed on the back of the remote control.
2. (For battery replacement) Remove the depleted battery.
3. Place a battery of the correct type onto the holder with the plus (+) pole facing up.
4. Slide the holder back in until it locks.
Operation
Important notes:
• Never operate the product while it is in the packaging or rolled up.
• Do not cover the product while it is in use or cooling down.
• Remote control:
- Observe its max. range. Point it at the power adaptor when operating.
- Replace the battery if the product no longer responds to input.
a) Managing the power supply
• To supply power, connect the power adaptor to the mains.
- The power indicator light on the adaptor lights up blue.
• After use, disconnect the power adaptor from the mains.
The product does not have an on/off switch that disconnects it from the mains. To
completely shut off, disconnect the power adaptor from the mains.
b) Turning the lights on and off
Remote control: Press

c) Adjust dimming
On the remote control, use the
DIM+

buttons to incrementally adjust dimming:
• Increase brightness: Press

The below table lists the available light effects.

Activate light effects as follows:
• Power adaptor: Repeatedly press the button
PRESS
to toggle through the light effects.
• Remote control: Press the number corresponding to the light effect shown in the table.
e) Using the timer
The timer operates the product in periods of on (6 hours) and off (18 hours).
Study the below diagram to understand how the timer works after activation.

Activating and deactivating
When the timer is activated, the timer indicator light on the adaptor lights up green.
• Power adaptor: Hold down the button
PRESS
for 3 seconds to activate the timer. Hold it
down for 3 seconds to deactivate the timer.
• Remote control: Press
TIMER
to activate the timer. Press again to deactivate.
Care and cleaning
• Disconnect the product from the mains before cleaning or storing.
• Let the product cool down to ambient temperature before cleaning or storing.
• Remove batteries before storing to prevent leaking.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.

Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Important notes:
• LED lights cannot be replaced.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the house-
hold waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from
the product.
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used (re-
chargeable) batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labeled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our
stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
