Extruded Linear Lights
The light is shipped with a blue protective cover on the front shield. This should be removed
after
installation to ensure proper operation of the light.
Mounting
Surface Mount
1. Remove the locknut from both posts on the light. Keep the nylon spacers
on the posts.
2. Place a mounting bracket on both posts. Secure the brackets with the
locknuts.
3. Prepare mounting surface by drilling two

” holes where the
mounting brackets are to be installed.
4.
Secure the light to the mounting surface with ¼” hardware (not supplied).
5. Adjust the tilt of the light. When the desired setting is found tighten the
locknuts on the side posts.
Wiring
The light is supplied with a connector with inline fuse, relay, switch and
battery leads harness.
You may want to mount the light first to ensure the wires reach the lights.
In the event the wire lengths are not of adequate length, you may extend
them using no less than 18AWG wire. Lengths should be kept to a
minimum.
1. Ensure the switch is in the OFF position (the red LED side of the switch is away from the switch body).
2. Connect the battery leads to the electrical system.
3. Run the wire and the switch to the switch mounting position, and install the switch.
4. Secure the relay to a surface with a #10 screw (not supplied)
5. Connect the pigtail from the light to the switch harness connector.
Connecting two lights to the same switch can be completed, but each light must be supplied its own
voltage source.
Do not attempt to run two linear floodlights on the same relay.
Trouble Shooting
If your light fails to work, please follow these troubleshooting tips before calling the factory:
Check all connections for breakage or corrosion.
Check to see if the fuse has blown within the vehicle. If it has, replace with a fuse of the
exact same
amp rating.
For long power wire lengths, ensure the voltage at the light connection is adequate. If not, you may
have to shorten the length or increase the wire gauge.
Ensure vehicle’s battery is charged and that the charging system is functional.
