8 Troubleshooting 

If you have problems with your telephone, please check the following points first.  For any 
claims under the warranty, please refer to your dealer. The warranty period is 2 years and 1 
year for the rechargeable batteries. 

No calls possible 

o

 The telephone line is not correctly connected or is faulty. 

o

 Use only the telephone cable provided. 

o

 Test whether your telephone connection is in order by using 

another telephone.  

o

 The power supply is not plugged in or there is a total power 

failure.

o

 The rechargeable batteries are flat or defective.  

o

 You are too far away from the base station. 

Connection is cut off 
or drops out 

o

 You are too far away from the base station or the base 

station is wrongly positioned. 

The charging symbol 
does not come on 
while the handset is 
on the base station. 

o

 Place the handset properly on the base station, clean the 

contact surfaces on the handset and on the base station 
with a soft, dry cloth. 

The standard 
batteries discharge 
very quickly. 

o

 Charge the handset. If this does not help, replace the 

standard batteries. 

Display dark 

o

 Caused by direct sunlight, allow the handset to cool down.
