Warranty- and Service-Information
If the good evinces a defect due to manufacturing or materials
faults within 24 months of purchase, IVS GmbH will replace it
with and equivalent good or perform a repair. This will not pro-
ceed directly between the end-client and IVS GmbH, but
through your dealer/selling agent. In the case of
components subject to wear (e. g. batteries) this period lasts for
6 months from the date of purchase. Goods exchanged become
property of IVS GmbH.
We ask that you send the good to your dealer
- in the original packaging incl. all accessories
- with a copy of the receipt
- with a clear and accurate description of the defect
- immediately after the fault is identified.
Should no defect be detected, the good will be returned to
sender with an appropriate notation.
The warranty does not apply in cases of improper handling or
failure to heed the operating instructions, of alterations to the
good performed by the dealer or the customer (e.g. installations,
software downloads) and in cases of total loss. IVS GmbH
reserves the right in these cases to charge the customer for the
replacement or repair. IVS GmbH will inform the customer of
this in advance. The following are considered total losses:
- fire damage (e. g. from a short circuit)
