2.1 Safety directives
It is essential to follow the instructions
below concerning the installation,
connection and use of the telephone.
· Place the telephone on a non-slip surface!
· Keep the leads out of the way to avoid
accidents.
· Place the telephone away from sources of
heat, direct sunlight, other electric devices,
moisture, dust, aggressive liquids, and
steam.
· Connect the leads to the proper outlets
only.
· Never connect unapproved accessories.
· Never:
- open the telephone yourself!
- tamper with the inner components in
order to modify the telephone!
- touch the contacts with pointed or
metal objects!
- carry the telephone or handset by their
leads!
