SERVICE & ADJUSTMENTS

Deck Belt Routing & 
Replacement

Disconnect spark plug wire

Apply parking brake

Lower the deck to its lowest position

Remove the belt covers

Disconnect tension idler

Roll the belt over the top of the deck pulleys

Remove belt

Removal

Install new belt by placing it around 

the deck pulleys.  Refer to routing  
diagram below.

The belt will be loose at this time

Tightly secure the belt tension back 

to its original position

Reinstall the belt covers

Reconnect spark plug wire

Replacement

Front of Unit
