REMOVAL OF SPARE WHEEL:
Caution:
Exercise care when lowering the
wheel and frame due to its weight.
Removal
a) Spare wheel in the stowed position
(Fig. 1).
b) Remove the securing pins (a) from the
supports (b) at each side of the spare
wheel carrier frame (c) (Fig. 2).
c) Lift the wheel carrier frame (c) slightly and
move the frame supports (b) forward and
clear of the carrier frame (Fig. 3).
d) Lower the carrier frame and wheel to the
ground (Fig. 4).
e) Remove the spare wheel.
Replacement
Replacement is a reversal of the removal
procedure.
Ensure the securing pins (a) are correctly
located in the frame supports (b).
