The “VPS” function modulates the flow rate to the primary circuit following the flow of the secondary circuit, taking as re

ference the difference in the water temperature measured between the outlet of the primary circuit and the bypass pipe.
Water flow rate control in the primary circuit always takes place within the limits set for correct operation of the refrigerant
unit.
If the flow in the secondary circuit is reduced, so is the flow in the primary circuit, which results in energy consumption sa

ving.
This function requires the installation of a temperature sensor on the bypass pipe. The sensor must be connected as shown
in the wiring diagram.
For this function to be applied correctly, the hydraulic circuit must be made as shown in the diagram below.

The abbreviations present in the diagram indicate:
- A2 = cooling unit controller
- BT1 = unit input temperature sensor
- BT2 = unit output temperature sensor
- EU = heat exchanger in cooling unit

When making the hydraulic circuit as shown in the diagram, attention must be paid to the following:
- the bypass pipe must be of the same diameter as the connections of the unit;

the temperature sensor must be installed as instructed in the section “System components”;

To give greater reactivity to the system/plant and to reduce the capacity of the tank, the points of use furthest away from
the refrigerant unit must be fitted with a three-way instead of a two-way valve.
