Switching the MP3 player on and off

Press the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds in order to switch on the Sweex MP3 player. The text HELLO will appear in the display. After 2 seconds,
the main menu appears detailing information on, among other things, the number of tracks, the equalizer setting, the battery status and the playtime
of the selected track.

To switch off the MP3 player, you must press the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds. The text OFF will appear in the display. 

Playing music

As soon as the MP3 player is switched on, briefly press the Play button in order to start playing. Browsing between the different tracks is possible
by means of the EQ/MODE button NOTE: this button has a dual function. Pressing the button to the left or right enables browsing through the
different tracks. By briefly pressing the button whilst playing, you can switch between the five different equalizer settings (Normal, Pop, Jazz, Rock,
Classic). By pressing the EQ/MODE button slightly longer, you can switch between the various play modes: 

• 

Play back in normal order

• 

Play back only one track

• 

Play back all numbers in random order

Whilst playing the volume can be adjusted by means of the and - button. 

Battery status indicator

The Sweex MP3 player uses a single 1.5 volt AAA battery. As soon as battery capacity becomes too low, the battery icon in the display will
start to blink.

Locking Buttons

To prevent accidental activation of a button whilst playing, all buttons can be locked by means of the HOLD switch. Slide the switch to the
right to lock the buttons. The HOLD symbol appears in the top right corner of the display. Slide the switch to the left to unlock again.
