HOW TO USE

1.  Fill the kettle with water via the spout.  You can also fill the kettle by opening the lid.  Ensure the lid is firmly closed

after filling.

2.  Check that the water level is between the MIN and MAX lines on the water gauge. DO NOT FILL THE KETTLE

PAST THE MAX LEVEL.  DOING SO POSES A SCALDING RISK.

3.  Place the kettle on a flat, level, dry, heat resistant surface.  Plug into a 120V AC wall outlet. Press the ON/OFF

switch down to start the boil cycle. NOTE:  Never plug the kettle into an electrical outlet when the kettle is empty.

4.  Direct kettle spout away from cabinets, walls, etc. to prevent possible steam damage.
5.  The kettle shuts off automatically after the boiling cycle is complete.  If the kettle is removed from the base before

the boiling cycle is complete, the boiling cycle will be cancelled.  To turn the kettle off before the boiling cycle is
complete raise the on/off button or lift the kettle off the base..

6.  The lid should not be opened when the kettle is hot.
7.  If the kettle is accidentally switched on when empty, the thermostat will automatically cycle on and off to prevent

the Kettle from overheating.  If this situation occurs, unplug the kettle immediately and allow it to cool before
refilling.

8.  It is recommended that the power cord be disconnected from the wall outlet when not in use.
9. DO NOT attempt to connect any other appliance to the power base or tamper with the connector in any way.

1.  All servicing, other than cleaning, should be performed by an authorized service representative. See Warranty section.
2.  Unplug the Base from the wall outlet.  Empty the Kettle and allow it to cool before cleaning. Exterior- Use a soft, damp cloth

to clean the exterior.  - DO NOT use abrasive cleaners.  Dry exterior thoroughly before use. - DO NOT immerse kettle or
power base in water or other liquid.

Descaling:  Under normal use, scale build-up will form on the inside of the kettle and will coat the stainless steel plate.  Scale,
