Local Name:

or tag for this camera, so it’s easily
identifiable on the Camera List. You
can use any name you’d like up to 50
characters.

the camera is using. You may be asked for this number if you contact Swann technical

Video
Video Size:
The same
option as on the Control
Panel - you can choose
how large the image sent
from the camera is. The
same restrictions apply:
setting a high resolution
requires a high quality
and high data rate to
properly stream images.
Max Frame Rate:
The frame rate is a measurement of how many individual images
are sent to the camera each second. Anything above 15 frames per second (fps) looks
like smooth video, with 25 - 30 being typical for TV broadcasts. The max framerate
setting will limit the number of frames sent to whatever you set it to.
Bandwidth:
How much data the camera will send. More data will lead to a potentially
higher quality image, allowing for higher resolutions, quality stttings and framerate.
Video Quality:
How much information will be sent per-pixel. High quality settings
look great, but unless the bandwidth/bit-rate is very high
Power Frequency:
Set this to the frequency of AC power in your area. Some devices
(such as TV screens and fluorescent lights) will flicker if this is not set correctly.
Flip Style:
You can choose to flip the image horizontally, vertically or both.
Advanced Settings:
Opens the Advanced Settings panel, as described on the next
page.
