INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  Remove the receiver bar /gusset assembly from the box.
2.   Line up the bottom hole in the bike rack upright and install the 1/2” (A) pin and clip.

This will make it easier to line up the top hole in the gusset with the bike rack upright stem
(diagram 1).

3.   Install the 1/2” bolt, washers and nut (B) through the top hole of the gusset and bike rack

upright (diagram 1).

4.   Tighten the two bolts on the receiver to 50 ft. lbs. (C) – very tight. The top bolt (B) in the

gusset is to be tightened so that there is no movement but still allows the bike rack to fold
down. NOTE: If you want to move the rack closer the vehicle you can mount the gusset in
the second set of holes in the receiver bar.

5.   Using the top cam lever move the top arm upwards into the upright position. At the same

time the bottom wheel holder will move into position. You will hear a click when the arm is
in the correct position.

6.   The bike rack has two kinds of wheel holders. The one with the wheel strap is FIXED and

the other one is ADJUSTABLE (diagram 2). Each of the wheel trays has a coloured dot on it.
There are also coloured dots on the top of each main arm. Mount each wheel holder with
the corresponding colour dot.

7.   The FIXED wheel holder is mounted on the top arm in a position right above the bottom

wheel holder (diagram 3).  The wheel holders are positioned so that the plastic wheel tray
is angled towards the vehicle.
NOTE: The wheel holder adjuster knobs are positioned so
that they face away from the vehicle.

8.   The wheel holders are bolted to the support arm using the two Carriage bolts, washers and

nuts (diagram 4). NOTE: The wheel holders mount bracket is mounted from the inside edge
of the top arm.

9.   The adjustable wheel holders are mounted on the opposite side of the top arm.
10.   Insert the rack into your receiver style hitch.
11.   Secure the rack with the threaded hitch pin and clip. Tighten to 40/ft.lbs.
12.   Grab the top of the rack and move back and forth. The rack should not move on the hitch.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FOLDING THE RACK:

1.   Remove all the bikes and other equipment from the rack before folding down top arm or

folding away from the vehicle.

2.   Pull the lever and gently lower the arms of the rack at the same time the bottom wheel

holders arm will move upward (diagram 5).

3.   To restore the rack to the upright position, reverse the procedure. You should hear an audible

click when is engaged.

4.   Check periodically to ensure that you have a solid fit between the rack and the mounting

location.

5.    To fold down the entire rack for access to the rear of your vehicle first remove the 1/2” pin at

the base of the rack while holding the stem of the rack.

6.   Gently lower the rack away from the vehicle until it rests on the lower pin in the base.
7.    To restore the rack to the upright position simply reverse the procedure.
