Assembly Instructions

1.   Attach the 1-1/4 “ receiver bar to the main assembly 

using the 12mm x 60mm bolt, washer and nut. Put the 
spring clip security lanyard and 3/8” Lynch pin on the 
bolt before inserting.

2.   Using the 8mm Allen wrench insert and tighten the 

folding guide bolt (diagram 1). NOTE: Make sure to 
insert the bolt from the proper side. The guide bolt head 
fi ts into the slot. Refer to diagram 1.

3.   Insert the lynch pin into the hole provide and attached 

the spring clip. NOTE: This lynch pin is removed if 
folding the bike rack away from the vehicle (diagram 1).

4.   Slide the hooks onto the upright portion alternating the 

direction (diagram 2).

5.   Unfold the two side arms as shown (diagram 2) and 

insert 2 lynch pins. Ensure that the pins are all the way 
in. Slide the hooks onto the upright portion alternating 
the direction

6.   Slide the 4 wheel holder trays on to the bottom arms 

alternating the direction of the trays (diagram 3). Do 
not tighten them at this time, as they will have to be 
adjusted to fi t each bike that you are carrying.

7.   After the wheel holders are installed you will need to 

screw in the 2 metal screws at the end of each arm. This 
will prevent wheel holders from coming off  (diagram 4).

8.   Take the bike rack and install into the vehicle hitch. 

Install the threaded pin and clip and tighten to
50 ft. lbs. (tight).

9.   If the rack is to be used on 1-1/4” receiver you will need 

to remove the Allen Bolt that hold on the spacers. Use 
the 6mm Allen Wrench (diagram 5).

Installing the Rack Into Your Vehicle:

1.   Insert the bike rack into the 2” or 1-1/4 “ receiver.  Install 

the ½” threaded locking hitch pin and tighten to 50 ft 
lbs. (very tight). Put on the lock head until it is securely 
attached.

2.   The rack is designed to carry up to two 35 lbs. bikes. You 

cannot combine weight to carry one bike over 35 lbs.
