Taking a still picture
How to take a still picture

Adjust the focus.
Set the Focus Switch to an appropriate setting. Normally, you should
set the focus to ( ) for most shooting conditions. Select ( ) only for
close-ups.

Adjust other settings (optional).
Adjust other advanced settings if necessary. See the section “ Advanced
Operations ” for more information.

Zoom in or zoom out.
Before taking a picture, you can
press the Up or Down button to
zoom in or zoom out the screen, thus
retaining the best image.

Take a still picture.
Press the Shutter button to take a still
picture. The picture will be saved in JPEG
format.
