Note that the bath shall not be filled with water continuously but emptied after each bath. This way no chemical treatment is
necessary.
To keep your bath in good condition for many years ahead, follow instructions below:
- The bath should be
regularly
cleaned with mild detergent without abrasives.
-
Suction grate needs to be cleaned
regularly
after use: The suction grate should be checked to ensure that its safety
function works, and to keep the massage tub functioning well. To access the suction grate, raise the chrome discharge
cover together with the drain plug in the base of the massage tub.
- 1-2 times a year we recommend you to wax your bath with traditional car wax to improve the finish and ease the regular
cleaning.
If subjected to normal use, the massage tub should be cleaned thoroughly
once every three months
. Check and clean the
following components:
- Floor drain: This is important to ensure that the massage tub's overflow protection works.
- Massage nozzles: Dirt in the massage nozzles impairs the massage tub's function.
- The massage tub's tube system should be cleaned to prevent microorganism growth. Consult your local dealer for advice on
suitable detergent and cleaning methods.
- Check the functions of the baths and that no leaks have appeared.
The system checks itself 10 times per second. If a fault is detected, the light underneath the button will flash.
If any problems arise, please check the points below before contacting customer service.
The pump will not start
1. Check that the drain is closed.
2. Check that the water level is correct. The water level is correct when the water reaches about 5 cm above the highest
massage jet. The indicator light underneath the button will flash slowly three times if the water level is too low.
The heater does not work
1. The drain must be closed and the pump (massage jets) must be running before the heater can be switched on.
2. Check that the fuse(s) have not tripped.
3. Check that the water in the massage tub is no hotter than 43
˚
C.
4. Check that the mechanical overheating guard has not been triggered, by following the instructions below. NB:
The 3 kW heater has two overheating guards.
1. Switch off the power to the massage tub.
2. Remove the cap on the overheating guard (snap closure).
3. Press the reset button located behind the cap.
4. Put the cap back on the overheating guard.
5. Switch on the power and test the heater function in the massage tub.
The drain opens
The drain opens automatically when the water level rises above the water level sensor. The drain also opens if the sensor is
covered by the bather's body or by a wet towel. The drain will close again when the water level falls below the water level
sensor, or when the drain is no longer covered. The indicator light underneath the button will flash slowly three times if the water
level is too high.
