Adjustment of drain plug
The base is factory-configured to fit the factory drain, which may differ
from the drain where the massage tub will later be installed. For this
reason, it may be necessary to adjust the drain plug so that the water
is discharged at the right speed.
1. Remove the chrome discharge cover in the base of the massage
tub.
2. Raise the drain plug.
3. Adjust the screw on the drain plug so that the water is discharged
at the optimum speed.
The further out the screw is located, the larger the discharge hole.
Remember to lock the screw in place with the lock nut.

Function control
The massage tub has undergone full electrical safety and function testing. However, it is still important to test the massage
tub after installation. Please observe the following steps:
1. Make sure the massage tub is free of dirt before filling it with water.
2. Run water with a temperature of 40
5
into the massage tub, filling it to about 5 cm above the highest massage nozzle.
Leave it to stand with the pump turned off for about 10 minutes. Check that no water has leaked out. NB: The massage
tub must be powered in order for the drain to close. For further information on how to close the drain, see page 28.
3. Start the massage tub and test all the functions for at least 10 minutes. Switch off the pump and wait at least 10 before
emptying the bath. Check for leakage during the test run. NB: If the pump does not start, this is probably because the
water level is too low.
To control the unit after adjusting the settings of the installation or after replacing faulty parts, repeat the procedure.
Built-in installation
Since the massage tub is to be built in, some important points must be observed to ensure long life, optimal
performance and a pleasant bathroom environment.
Things to remember regarding built-in installation:
- Built-in installation should not start until the massage tub has been installed in its correct position, as discrepancies
may occur in the tub's dimensions.
- The built-in installation should have two air vents, one for inlet air and one for outlet air. This prevents the massage tub
from overheating and damp and mould from forming. Each opening should have an area of 400 cm² and be located in
a separate corner.
- There should be a service hatch through which the following components can be accessed:
1. Heater. It should be possible to reset the heater's manual overheating protection system.
2. Floor drain, to enable regular cleaning.
3. Electronic box with a lid that can be opened.
4. A gap of 3-5 mm should be left between the rim of the tub and the built-in installation. This gap should be sealed
with waterproof silicone.
Ideally, the tub should be installed so that the whole casing can be removed.
If this is not possible, make sure that the whole tub can be raised up.
To use a Svedbergs Massage Bath
Svedbergs massage bath is a pleasant and relaxing form of bathing that also has genuine hydrotherapeutic benefits. People
suffering from joint or muscular problems will find relief using this system.
To have a bath in a Svedbergs massage bath should be a pleasant experience but it may also involve strains on the body.
Consider the following advice and instructions.
- Don't exceed 30 minutes bathing time (
the system switches off automatically after 30 minutes
). Shorter time if you are not
used to massage baths.
- Alcohol, narcotics and/or sauna in combination with massage bath can be dangerous.
- People with cardiac and circulatory disturbance and pregnant women should avoid massage baths. Consult a doctor.
- Never dive under water when massage bath is running.
- Children, disabled people or people with inadequate knowledge of the product should never use the tub alone without an
adult's supervision.
- Never touch the electrical components. If a problem occurs, contact your supplier or an authorized electrician.
The pump will turn off if the grate in the drain becomes blocked. This is a safety function, for instance if the bather's hair gets
caught. When the pump is turned off, the grate's suction action stops and the trapped object is released.
