5.0   SELECTABLE FEATURES

 

Arm/Disarm Chirps    “ON” / ”OFF”

 

Auto Re-Arming         “ON” / “OFF”

 

Exterior illumination   “ON” / “OFF”

1.   Arm/Disarm Chirps (Factory Set
“OFF”)

When programmed “ON” the system will
emit one “chirp” when arming and two
“chirps” when disarming.

The following procedure will allow you to
turn the “chirps” sound on or off:

 

Momentarily press the black button on
the transmitter until three indicator
flashers are received. This indicates
the system has disarmed.

 

Within 20 seconds of disarming, turn
the ignition switch from the "Acc"
position to the “ON” position six times.
Leave the key in the "OFF" position
after the sixth turn.

 

Press the black button on the
transmitter, the indicators will flash six
times to confirm the selection has
been changed.

 

 

Check to see if the correct selection
has been made.  If not, repeat the
above steps.

2. 

Re-Arming (Factory Set      “OFF”)

Re-Arming will automatically re-arm and
lock all doors 35 seconds after
disarming the alarm, providing no doors
or tailgate have been opened.  If a door
or tailgate is opened within 35 seconds
of disarming, the system will 

NOT

automatically re-arm and lock the doors.

RE-ARMING CAN BE TURNED “ON”
USING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE.

 

Ensure driver’s door is open.

 

Momentarily press the black button
on the transmitter until three
indicator flashers are received,
confirming system has disarmed.

 

Within 20 seconds, turn the ignition
switch from the “OFF” to the ignition
“ON” position 10 times.  Leave the
key in the “OFF” position after the
tenth turn.

 

Press the black button on the
transmitter.  The indicators will
flash 10 times to confirm the
selection has been changed.

3. 

Exterior illumination (Factory
set “OFF” available in Alarm
mode only)

When programmed “ON” the indicator
lights will turn “ON” when the doors
are unlocked using the transmitter.
This will provide illumination around
the vehicle.  The lights will turn off
after 30 seconds or when a door is
opened.
Exterior illumination can be turned
“ON” or “OFF” using the following
procedure:

 

Momentarily press the black
button on the transmitter until
three indicator flashers are
received. This indicates the
system has disarmed.

 

Within 20 seconds, turn the
ignition switch from the “Acc”
position to the ignition “ON”
position seventeen times.  Leave
the key in the “OFF” position after
the seventeenth turn.

 

Press the black button the
transmitter.  The indicators will
flash seventeen times to confirm
the selection has been changed.
