Simple Maintenance Instructions:
If you have a cover bag, we recommend you use it whenever the parasol is closed.
This will greatly extended the life of the canopy.
In coastal or metropolitan environments it is beneficial to periodically wash your parasol
using fresh water from a hose. This includes the canopy and frame.
Should the 16 rotating-mechanism stop-pin holes becoming filled with sand or dust etc.,
remove the parasol from its spigot the remove the spigot from the parasol base plate.
Clean out the 16 rotating-mechanism stop-pin holes and apply some grease or lubricant
to the spigot shaft.
When the parasol is closed for extended periods of time, it is best to fold the acrylic
canvas canopy as shown previously. This will prolong the new look of the canvas,
preventing marking caused by “pinching” in the aluminium frame.
