About This Manual
This manual is written for system integrators, PC technicians and
knowledgeable PC users. It provides information for the installation and use of the
X9SCFF-F motherboard. This product is intended to be professionally
installed and serviced by a technician.
About This Motherboard
The X9SCFF-F motherboard is a 8.5"x13" sized motherboard, designed for the
Supermicro 1U chassis.
The X9SCFF-F supports one Intel® Xeon E3-1200 V2 series CPU on an H2
socket (LGA 1155), and the Intel C204 PCH chipset. It also supports up to 32GB
of DDR3 ECC UDIMMM, two SATA 3.0 ports (6 Gb/sec), four SATA 2.0 ports (3
Gb/sec), dual 1Gb LAN ports and one IPMI LAN port. These features enable the
X9SCFF-F to deliver a viable single-processor Fat Twin architecture solution in a
cost-effective package.

Chapter 1
describes the features, specifications and performance of the mother

board and provides detailed information about the chipset.
Chapter 2
provides hardware installation instructions. Read this chapter when in-
stalling the processor, memory modules and other hardware components into the
system. If you encounter any problems, see

, which describes trouble-
shooting procedures for video, memory and system setup stored in the CMOS.
Chapter 4
includes an introduction to the BIOS and provides detailed information
on running the CMOS Setup utility.
