1-2 Processor and Chipset Overview
Built upon the functionality and the capability of Intel E5-2600(v2) (Socket R)
processors and the C602 chipset, the X9DRFR motherboard provides the perfor-
mance and feature sets required for dual_processor-based HPC/Cluster/Database
server platforms.
With support of Intel QuickPath interconnect (QPI) Technology, the X9DRFR offers
point-to-point serial interconnect interface with a transfer speed of up to 8.0 GT/s,
providing superb system performance.
The C602 chipset provides extensive IO support, including the following functions
