1-2 Processor and Chipset Overview
Built upon the functionality and the capability of Intel E5-2600 Series (Socket
R) processors and the C602J chipset, the X9DRD-7JLN4F/-7LN4F motherboard
provides the performance and feature sets required for dual processor-based
HPC/Cluster/Database servers.
With support of Intel QuickPath interconnect (QPI) Technology, the X9DRD-
7JLN4F/-7LN4F offers point-to-point serial interconnect interface with a transfer
speed of up to 8.0 GT/s, providing superb system performance.
The C602J chipset provides extensive IO support, including the following func-
tions and capabilities:
