Installing an Active Heatsink
1. Locate the CPU Fan connector on the motherboard. (Refer to the layout for
the CPU Fan connector location.)
2. Remove the protective plastic from the bottom of the heatsink.
Warning
: CPU overheat may occur if the protective plastic is not removed from the
heatsink.

3. Detach the fan from the heatsink so that the mounting holes are visible and
accessible (this applies to SKU-P0035AP4 and SKU-P0040AP4 heatsinks).
4. Apply the proper amount of thermal grease on the CPU. (
Note
: If your heat-
sink came with pre-applied thermal grease, ignore this step.)
