6-5 Installing Expansion Cards
The system accepts one low profile expansion card, mounted on a riser bracket.
Installing an Expansion Card
1. Locate the
riser card bracket
in your chassis accessory bag, and the riser card,
which may be purchased separately.
2. Power down the system and remove the cover.
3. Remove the PCI slot shield in the rear of the chassis.
4. Attach the riser card to the riser card bracket using screws.
5. Insert the riser card into the motherboard expansion slot while aligning the riser
card bracket with the rear of the chassis. Secure the bracket with screws.
6. Insert the expansion card into a slot on the riser card while aligning the expansion
card backplate with the open slot in the rear of the chassis.
