Serial ATA Ports
There are Six Serial ATA Ports (I-
SATA0~I-SATA 5) located on the
motherboard. These ports provide
serial-link signal connections, which
are faster than the connections of
Parallel ATA. See the table on the
right for pin defi nitions.
SAS Ports (X8DAL-3 only)
SAS Ports 0~7 provide SAS (Serial-
Attached SCSI) connections on the
X8DAL-3. See the layout below for
SAS port locations.
