Removing the Heatsink
Warning:
We do not recommend removing the CPU or the heatsink. How-
ever, if you do need to remove the heatsink, please follow the instructions
below to prevent damage to the CPU or other components.
Unplug the power cord from the power supply.
1.
Disconnect the heatsink fan wires from the CPU fan header.
2.
Use your fi ngertips to gently press on the fastener cap and turn it counter-

) turn, then pull the fastener upward to loosen it.
Repeat Step 3 to loosen all fasteners from their mounting holes.

With all fasteners loosened, remove the heatsink from the CPU.
