Chapter 5: Chassis Setup

Optional Battery Backup Power

With the SC835B, a Battery Backup Power

®

 module is available as an option. 

The form factor is the same as the standard redundant power supplies and it is 
hot-swappable.

To install the Battery Backup Power module, simply remove the power supply 
dummy cover from under the standard power supplies. Then push the BBP module 
into the power bay until it clicks into the locked position.
