About This Manual
This manual is written for system integrators, IT technicians and knowledgeable end users. It
provides information for the installation and use of the Supermicro X12SCV-W motherboard.
About This Motherboard
The Supermicro X12SCV-W supports the Intel® Xeon and Core i9/i7/i5/i3 series processor
with up to 10 cores and a TDP of 65W in an LGA1200 socket. The motherboard comes
in a mini-ITX form factor and supports both DC12V and ATX power input. Built with the
Intel W480E chipset, the X12SCV-W supports 64GB of Non-ECC/ECC SODIMM with speeds
of up to 2933MHz, SATA 3.0 ports, M.2 M-Key, and a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) header.
The X12SCV-W is optimized for high-performance, high-end computing platforms that address
the needs of that require small form factor hardware. Note that this motherboard is intended
