Configure IPV6 Support
Use this feature to display configuration settings for IPv6 support. The options are
Enabled
and Disabled.
*If the feature above is set to Enabled, the following feature will become available
for configuration:
Configuration Address Source
This feature allows the user to select the source of the IP address for this computer. If
Static is selected, the user will need to know the IP address of this computer and enter it
to the system manually in the field. If DHCP is selected, the BIOS will search for a DHCP
(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server in the network that it is attached to and
request the next available IP address for this computer. If Unspecified is selected, the BMC
network paramters will not be modified during the BIOS phase. The options are Unspecified,
Static, and
DHCP
.
*If the feature above is set to Static, the following features will become available for
configuration:
Station IPV6 Address
Use this feature to enter the IPv6 address.
Prefix Length
Use this feature to change the prefix length.
IPV6 Router IP Address
Use this feature to change the IPv6 Router1 IP address.
