Chapter 4: Motherboard Connections

Unit ID LED

A rear unit identifier (UID) indicator at LE6 is located near the UID switch on the I/O back
panel. It provides easy identification of a unit that may need service.

M.2 Heartbeat LED

When LE4 is blinking, the M.2 slot is functioning normally.

Onboard Power LED

LDPWR3 is the onboard power indicator. When this LED is on, the system power is connected.

BMC Heartbeat LED

LEDBMC is the BMC heartbeat indicator. When the LED is blinking green, BMC is functioning
normally.

4.5 LED Indicators

Network LAN LEDs

The Ethernet ports each have two LEDs. One LED indicates activity when flashing green.
The other may be green, amber or off to indicate the speed of the connection.
