Align the CPU key (a semi-circle cutout) against the socket key, which is the

notch below the gold color dot on the side of the socket.
Align pin 1 on the CPU with pin 1 on the CPU socket.

Once both the CPU and the socket are aligned, carefully lower the CPU

Lower the CPU load plate to the socket.

Use your thumb to gently push the socket clip down to the clip lock.

Warning: Save the plastic cap. The serverboard must be shipped with
the plastic cap properly installed to protect the CPU socket pins. Ship-
ment without the plastic cap properly installed may cause damage to the
socket pins.
