4.2 Ports
VGA Port
The onboard VGA port is located on the I/O backpanel. Use this connection for VGA display.
Serial Port
There is one COM port (COM1) on the I/O backpanel. The COM port provides serial
communication support.
Ethernet Ports
Two Ethernet ports (LAN1, LAN2) are located on the I/O back panel. These Ethernet ports
support GbE LAN connections on the motherboard. In addition, an IPMI-dedicated LAN that
supports GbE LAN is located next to USB 0/1 ports on the back panel. All Ethernet ports
accept RJ45 type cables. Please refer to the LED Indicator Section for LAN LED information.
Rear I/O Ports
See the figure below for the locations and descriptions of the various I/O ports on the rear
of the motherboard.
