Installing M.2 Solid State Drives
Each node can accommodate two M.2 solid state drives (SSDs) on the storage adapter card.
Several SSD lengths are supported—42mm, 60mm, 80mm or 110mm. For each length, there
is an hole in the storage adapter card for a plastic standoff.

Installing an M.2 SSD
Look at the storage adapter card. There is a plastic standoff in one of the holes. If it is the
correct hole for your M.2 SSD, you can slide the SSD into the socket, and secure it by pushing
the plug into the standoff. You may have to temporarily remove a DIMM or two to allow room.
Caution:
Use industry-standard anti-static equipment, such as gloves or wrist strap, and
follow precautions to avoid damage caused by ESD.
