1-2 Motherboard Features
The SuperServer 5018D-LN4T is built around the X10SDV-2C-TP4F, a single
processor motherboard designed to provide maximum performance. Below are
the main features of the X10SDV-2C-TP4F. (See Figure 1-1 for a block diagram).
Processor
The X10SDV-2C-TP4F supports a single Intel® Xeon/Pentium® D-1500 Family SoC
embedded processor (SoC = System on a Chip).
Memory
The X10SDV-2C-TP4F has four DIMM slots that can support up to 128 GB of ECC
RDIMM (Registered DIMM) or 64 GB of ECC/non-ECC UDIMM (Unregistered
DIMM) DDR4-1866/1600 memory. See Chapter 5 for details.
SATA
A SATA controller is integrated into the chipset to provide four SATA 3.0 (6/Gbps)
ports.
PCI Expansion Slots
The X10SDV-2C-TP4F has one M.2 PCI-E 3.0 x4 slot, an M Key for 2242/2280/22110
SSDs and one mini PCI-E 2.0 x1 slot with mSATA support (Mux with I-SATA5).
Rear I/O Ports
The rear I/O ports include a VGA port, two USB 3.0 ports, two 10 Gb SFP+ (Small
Form-factor Pluggable) Ethernet LAN ports, two Gb Ethernet (RJ45) LAN ports and
a dedicated IPMI LAN port.
Graphics Controller
The X10SDV-2C-TP4F features an integrated AST 2400 graphics controller.
