Motherboard Connections
This section describes the connections on the motherboard and provides pinout definitions.
Note that depending on how the system is configured, not all connections are required. The
LEDs on the motherboard are also described here. A motherboard layout indicating component

4.1 Power Connections
Power Supply Connectors
Two power supply connectors are located at PSU1 and PSU2. You must also connect the
8-pin 12V DC power connectors (JGPW1/JGPW2/JGPW3/JGPW4/JGPW5) to the power
supply to provide adequate power to your system.

8-Pin Power Connectors
JGPW1/JGPW2/JGPW3/JGPW4/JGPW5 are 8-pin 12V DC power inputs for the system and
it must be connected to the power supply. Refer to the table below for pin definitions..
Note
: To provide adequate power supply to the motherboard, be sure to connect the power
supply units, the 8-pin and 6-pin power connectors to the power supply. Failure to do so may
void the manufacturer warranty on your power supply and motherboard.
Other Power Connectors
JPWR1/JPWR4 are 6-pin 12V DC power inputs for the CPU and it must be connected to the
power supply.
Universal Serial Bus (USB) Ports and Headers
A USB header is located at JUSB3 on the motherboard. This USB header supports two USB
3.0 connections.
