4. Insert the expansion card into the riser card slot while aligning the card rear bracket with
the chassis slot.
5. Secure the card bracket with screws.
6. Insert the riser card assembly into the motherboard slots while aligning it with the
openings in the front of the chassis.
7. Secure the riser card bracket to the chassis using three front screws and two top
screws.
8. Reinstall the top chassis cover and power up the system.
Note:
Set the JI2C1 and JI2C2 jumpers on the motherboard to Enabled
to connect the System
Management Bus to the PCI-E Slots. See Chapter 1 for JI2C1 and JI2C2 locations.
