Description
Information LED Solid red indicates an overheated condition.
1Hz blinking red indicates a fan failure.
NIC2 LED
Flashing indicates network activity on LAN port 2.
NIC1 LED
Flashing indicates network activity on LAN port 1.
HDD LED
Flashing indicates hard drive activity.
Power LED
Illumination indicates power is being supplied to the system power supply. This LED should
normally be illuminated when the system is operating.
UID Button
The UID is used to switch/turn on/turn off UID LED next to the PCIe slots.
Power Button
The main power button is used to apply or remove power from the power supply to the server.
Turning off system power with this button removes the main power but maintains system
power. To perform maintenance tasks, you must also unplug the system before servicing.

An overheat condition has occurred.
(This may be caused by cable congestion.)
Blinking red (1Hz)
Fan failure, check for an inoperative fan.
Solid blue
UID has been activated locally to locate the
server in a rack environment.
Blinking blue
UID has been activated using IPMI to locate the
server in a rack environment.
