from the BIOS Setup main menu with the arrow keys to bring up the

menu. Security setting options are displayed by highlighting the setting
using the arrow keys and pressing <E
NTER
>. All Security BIOS settings are described in
Table 5-16
below.

IPMI Information
IPMI Firmware Revision and IPMI Status information are statically displayed at
the top of this menu.
System Event Log
Selecting this sub-menu displays settings for changing the SEL Event Log
configuration. Note: all values changed here do not take effect until the system is
restarted.
SEL Components
Change this setting to

or Disable all features of the System Event
Logging during boot-up.
Erase SEL
Use this setting for erasing the SEL. Options are

When SEL is Full
Use this setting to choose options for reactions to a full SEL. Options include

Use this sub-menu to configure BMC network parameters.

The sub-menu contains static display information for the Station IP Address,
Subnet Mask, Station MAC Address and Gateway IP Address.

Specify Yes or

for the BIOS to use this setting for IPMI in the next boot-up.
Configuration
Address Source
This setting allows you to configure LAN channel parameters Statically or
Dynamically (by BIOS or BMC). Unspecified option will not modify any BMC
network parameters during the BIOS phase. Options are

Static.
