This setting clears the Event Log memory of all messages. Options are OK and

PCIE Error Log
This setting allows you to specify whether or not you wish to record a PCIE Error
Log. Options include Yes or

Memory ECC Error
Log
This setting allows you to specify whether or not you wish to record a Memory
ECC Error Log. Options include Yes or
No
.

Menu Option
Description
Supervisor Password
This displays whether a supervisor password has been entered for the system.
“Not Installed” means that a Supervisor password has not been used.
User Password
This displays whether a user password has been entered for the system. “Not
Installed” means that a User password has not been used.
Change Supervisor
Password
Select this setting and hit the <E
NTER
> key to access the sub-menu and then
type in the Supervisor's password in the dialogue box to set or change the
Supervisor password, which allows access to the System’s BIOS.
Change User
Password
Select this setting and hit the <E
NTER
> key to access a sub-menu with the
following options;
•
Full Access
(default) – This grants full user read and write access to the
BIOS Setup Utility.
• V
IEW
O
NLY
– This allows access to the BIOS Setup Utility, but does not
allow the fields to be changed.
• L
IMITED
– This allows only limited fields to be changed such as D
ATE
and
T
IME
.
• No Access – This prevents User access to the BIOS Setup Utility.
NOTE:
This option is only available when the Supervisor Password has been set
above.
Boot Sector Virus
Protection
When Enabled, the AMI BIOS displays a warning when any program or virus
issues a Disk Format command or attempts to write to the boot sector of the hard
disk drive. Options include Enabled and
Disabled
.
