Chapter 2: Installation
Fan Headers
There is one fan header with 4-pins on the motherboard. Pins 1-3 are backward compatible
with traditional 3-pin fans. The onboard fan speeds are controlled by Thermal Management
(via Hardware Monitoring) in the BIOS. When using the Thermal Management setting, please
use all 3-pin fans or all 4-pin fans.

If you wish to use an external speaker, connect a cable to pins 1-4 on the JD1 header. Refer
