OUTSIDE AIR AND DAMPER HANDLE OPERATION

The damper handle, which opens and closes the damper blade, is 

located in the upper front face of the fireplace. Pushing the handle 

forward and up through the keyway slot will free damper blade to 

automatically open. Pushing the handle forward and down will lock 

damper blade closed (see Figure 44). 

Damper must be locked in the 

full open position before operating fireplace

 (see Figure 44).
