Installing the glass door
1.
Visually inspect the gasket on the backside of the glass door.
NOTE:
The gasket surface must be clean, free of irregularities, and seated fi rmly. Ensure it is properly located.
Make sure the bead is not rolled into the channel at the top of the door, but remains fl at against the top of the
glass.
2.
Position the door in front of the fi rebox opening with the bottom of the door held away from the fi replace at a
45° angle

. Hook the top fl ange of the door frame over the top of the fi rebox frame.
NOTE:
Ensure the glass door is centered—with even spacing on each side.
3.
Let the bottom of the glass door swing gently in towards the fi replace ensuring that the gasket seats evenly as
the door draws shut. Securely fasten the two (2) latches beneath the fi rebox fl oor to the door V-fl ange.
4.
Install the barrier by sliding in into the top channel with the fl at side toward the fi replace, then swinging the base
of the barrier into the brackets and lowering it into place.
5.
Close the control compartment door.
Removing the BARRIER
1.
Open the access door.
2.
Lift the barrier to clear the brackets and swing bottom of barrier out.
3.
Lower the barrier to clear the top channel.
Removing the glass door

Open the control compartment door

NOTE:
If necessary, remove the door and place it in a safe location for later reinstallation.
2.
Remove the barrier. Place the barrier in a safe location for later reinstallation.
3.
Detach the two (2) door latches beneath the fi rebox fl oor.
4.
Swing the bottom of the glass door away from the fi replace to a 45° angle

5.
Carefully grip the door at the top and bottom, and remove it from the fi replace. Place the door in a safe location
for later reinstallation.
