4-3 Advanced Setup Confi gurations

Use the arrow keys to select Boot Setup and hit <Enter> to access the submenu

items:



Boot Features

Quick Boot

Select Enabled to skip certain tests during POST to reduce the time needed for

system boot. The options are

Enabled

and Disabled.

Quiet Boot

Select Enabled to choose the bootup screen display between the POST messages

or the OEM logo. Select Disabled to display the POST messages. Select Enabled

to display the OEM logo instead of the normal POST messages. The options are

Enabled

and Disabled.

AddOn ROM Display Mode

Use this feature to confi gure Option ROM mode settings. The options are

Force

BIOS

and Keep Current.

Bootup Num-Lock

Select On to turn on the Numlock key at bootup The options are Off and

PS/2 Mouse Support

Select Enabled to enable PS/2 Mouse support. Select Auto to automatically en-

able PS/2 Mouse support if a PS/2 mouse is detected. The options are Disabled,

Enabled and

Auto.
