Mineral water:
If mineral water is used in your water cooler, it should be cleaned once each
month to remove scale that can form inside the unit.
Leave the cleaning solution (a mild vinegar solution or 2% citric acid
solution) inside the reservoirs for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, rinse and
flush as described above. Repeat as necessary.
H. Storage
If unit is being stored, turn off power, disconnect and drain all water from
reservoirs and lines. Ensure compartment is clean and dry.
Routine cleaning:
Turn off and unplug unit.
Remove bottle and water inlet ring by rotating counterclockwise and lifting out.
Pour about 3.5 l of a mild vinegar solution or 2% citric acid solution down into the
2 holes, or until no more solution drains away into the holes. Allow to sit 10-15
minutes. Run the solution through the spigots and through the back drains. Fill
the reservoirs 2-3 times with water and rinse through spigots and back drains.
The outer cabinet should be wiped with a soft cloth only. Do not use harsh
cleansers.
G. Cleaning and Maintenance
(! Caution-water may leak from bottle during removal/replacement)
I. Troubleshooting
Solution
1. Check plug, power cord,
and fuse or breaker
2. Check to ensure the unit
is level, and not touching
a wall or other obstuction
3a. Check or replace bottle
3b. Remove and re-insert
bottle (!)
3c. Check and close drain
valves
4. Check or replace
bottle (!)
5a. Wait for water to heat*
or cool
5b. Check plug, power
cord, and fuse or breaker
Possible cause
1. No power
2. Unit is not properly
located
3a. Cracked or broken
bottle
3b. Incorrect bottle
placement
3c. Drain valves are open
4. Air entrance has been
blocked
5a. Reservoir has just filled
and is not yet heated* /
cooled
5b. Power is interrupted
Problem
1. Indicator light does
not light
2. Abnormal running
noise
3. Water leakage
4. No water from nozzle
