(4) Stopping STAIR CHAIR in the middle of the
stairs
Once the finger is released from Switch,
Electromagnetic Brake will function
immediately and STAIR CHAIR will
immediately stop.
Because lugs rest on the stair's corners, STAIR
CHAIR will not slide down the stairs.
NOTE:
Except in an emergency, the operator must
not step away from the machine while it is
stopped on the stairs.
(5) STAIR CHAIR reached the top of the stairs
When STAIR CHAIR reaches a landing or, the
top of the stairs , be sure to stop STAIR CHAIR
for a moment when its Stop Mark reaches the top
stair level.
CAUTION
Stopping in the middle of the stairs shall be
avoided as much as possible.
In case the machine stops midway by
necessity, the operator shall not leave the
machine and shall keep holding the handle
securely with his/her both hands.
WARNING
Keep Rubber Crawler contact points as broad as possible.
It is dangerous for the passenger’s center of gravity to
overhang STAIR CHAIR’s stair-contacting points.
WARNING
If STAIR CHAIR is not stopped at its stop position and UP
Switch is kept pressed, STAIR CHAIR will suddenly tilt
toward horizontal. This will be dangerous.
