Suntrica SolarStrap™ gathers solar energy through its high

efficiency solar panel and provides instant charging power to

the Output connector. The output voltage is 5.4 V DC, which is

compatible with most mobile phones.

How to charge using your SolarStrap™

Place the SolarStrap™ solar panel towards the light source

Connect the charging cable of the SolarStrap™ to the

target device

When charging is completed, remove charging cable from

the device

Energy gathering from the light begins as soon as the Solar-

Strap™ is placed in the light. The charging time depends on

the light intensity. Optimal charging performance is achieved

outdoors in direct sunlight; Clouds and shadowing reduce the

charging performance. Depending on target device, charging

may be possible only in bright sunlight.

The approximate performance of solar powered charging is

presented in the following figure.

Tips

•  Make sure the light has a direct path to the solar panel

•  The best performance is obtained from a clean solar panel

(please see maintenance)

•  Note that a window will reduce solar charging power

 substantially

Maintenance

•  Use a soft cloth to clean SolarStrap™ exterior

•  Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong

 detergents

•  Do not attempt to take your SolarStrap™ apart

Troubleshooting

Problem:

SolarStrap™ does not charge a connected device

Possible cause:

Solution:

Too low charging power

Unconnect the charging cable from the

connected device, place the SolarStrap™

in the best possible charging position (e.g.

perpendicularly towards the sun) and then

connect the cable back again

Incompatible charging

adapter or electrical

incompatibility

Contact your local distributor to check you

have the right adapter for your device and

your device is compatible with the solar

charger

Improper connection

Make sure that the charging cable is properly

inserted into the device

Electrical failure

Suntrica products are extensively tested

before retail. If you suspect that the Solar-

Strap™ has been damaged, please contact

your local distributor
